Prof. (Col.) Awadhesh Kumar Mishra earned an MS in ENT from the esteemed Army Forces Medical College in Pune and a DNB from NBEMS. He has done two year fellowship in Endoscopic Sinus Surgery . Throughout the course of his distinguished career, which spanned more than 34 years, he held a number of positions as an ENT specialist, including Senior Advisor, Professor, and Head of Dept. of ENT-HNS at Army Hospital (R&R) Delhi Cantt, Base Hospital, and ACMS Delhi Cantt. He has written chapters for professional books and published more than 33 research articles in national and international journals. Also, he reviews articles for numerous national and international publications of ENT-HNS research. He has been recognised for his selfless devotion and professional achievements with the Chief of Army Staff’s Commendation (1991) and C-in-C SFC Commendation (2015). He also won the Chief of Air Staff Award for the best published paper in addition to the Senior Consultants Best Paper Prize and the Best Resident Paper Award.
